There"s thousands of stories of your everyday typical unit showing inspiring local insight, warfighting ingenuity, and moral and physical courage. But nobody seems to be aware that these exist, let alone are the norm. I bet if you took any of the soldiers or marines from an episode of Ross Kemp and showed them this, it would seem utterly strange to them.
